Thanks to Oh She Glows (originally adapted from My New Roots) we’ve managed to find a vegan version that’s still just as decadent, but super light and healthy too. We’re talking almond-oat crust layered with sticky date caramel, sweet banana coins, luxurious whipped coconut cream and shaved dark chocolate to make for an insanely delicious pie that’s sure to impress.
There’s a lot of information out there nowadays on how to prepare for healthy travel, snacks to pack for the plane, what to do on board to avoid jet lag, but there seems to be very little on how to settle back into the swing of things post travel. After a flight, our bodies are dehydrated, our appetite is haywire, our circadian rhythm is off, our bowel movements may be on hold and yet we have to be up and at ’em ready to attack a to-do list as long as our arm!
