Traditionally Christmas time means stocking the fridge with a well-known concoction made of beaten eggs, milk, and sugar – Eggnog. While we totally get the appeal of guzzling cup after cup of this ridiculously festive (usually alcoholic) beverage, as lovers of all things healthy we at Cali thought we would offer you guys a deliciously healthy alternative.
At Cali, we’ve made it our mission to develop and create the perfect smoothie. With the growing community health scene, the demand for smoothies is off the charts and there are certainly a bunch of places offering them up; but that doesn’t necessarily mean that all of them are good for you. Certain smoothies on the market have been shown to contain up to an alarming 31 teaspoons of sugar, while others can pack even more empty kilojoules than you’ll find in a Big Mac! Yikes! So in case you were wondering how it works at Cali, we want to give you some insight into how we’ve concocted our range of super delicious smoothies to skip the nasties and spike the superfoods.
Long gone are the days of a simple coffee order, and while full fat and straight from the cow might still be knocking around, it’s certainly gained a few competitors over the years. Vegan ‘mylk’ options frequently generate chit-chat among our Cali baristas and we’ve even gone as far as to debate cockroach mylk! So with all this choice available, we wanted to see how all these vegan mylks measure up against each other. How do they taste? What are they good for?
